UCPN-Maoist Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said he will soon meet newly-elected Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and take initiatives for the formation of a national consensus government. He said this while addressing a programme in Amritnagar, Narayani municipality-4, Chitwan. In line with a 16-point understanding, we will take initiatives for the formation of a government comprising the NC, CPN-UML and the UCPN-Maoist, Dahal, also coordinator of the high-level political mechanism, said.
