Biratnagar-based Dhital petrol station in Morang was sealed on Monday evening after it was affirmed it was found involved in smuggling diesel. A joint team from the Commerce Office, the District Administration Office and the District Police Office led by Regional office of Standard and Metrology Department in Biratnagar sealed the station. According to the team, the station was found to be smuggling diesel and selling it in various eastern districts at comparatively higher rate. Police have arrested five persons including three employees of the station while they were smuggling diesel from the station. Police also confiscated a tanker used for the smuggling. Police said that they will file a case against the guilty after necessary investigation. However, the station owner Manish Maru is at large. Police said that a special team of police has been mobilised to search for Maru.
