A clash occurred between protesters and police outside the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu on Thursday with police rounding up demonstrators.Rights activists and conflict victims, on the International Day for the Right to the Truth Concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and for the Dignity of Victims, were staging protest outside the PM residence with placards demanding the truth of what happened to their relatives during the decade long insurgency.Rights activist Charan Prasai, Ram Bhandari, Kamala Rai, Lenin Bista among others have been detained, while at least five persons have been injured in a clash with police. Police also snatched iPad from bystander who was taking pictures of the demonstration.
