Balika Vadhu actress “Pratyusha Banerjee” hangs herself to death

Mumbai, April 1: Actress Pratyusha Banerjee was declared dead on Friday, hours after her she committed suicide in her sub-urban residence. The popular soap-opera actress was reportedly reeling under depression. The exact cause of her suicide is yet to be revealed. Mumbai police have reached her home in Goregaon to begin investigation in the matter.Her death has come as a huge blow for the Indian television fraternity. Pratyusha was known for her role in popular Colors show ‘Balika Vadhu’. She played the highly popular character of Anandi. Pratyusha has also worked for sensational reality show Bigg Boss. The 24-year-old actress has also been seen occasionally on Crime Patrol and Savdhaan India.
